Thank you for your interest. Here's what to expect when you work with Shore-Built for your cabinetry.
Schedule Complimentary On-Site Visit - To view the space, discuss your vision for the space & take quick measurements
Preliminary Design - Shore-Built will design a quick, preliminary design for your kitchen, bath or entertainment center, etc. If/when a Contract is signed & a deposit received, these designs are distributed to the Homeowner
Ballpark Estimate - This estimate is complimentary & for budget purposes only. An Optional, more comprehensive estimate is a detailed estimate with the most accurate costs for your project (including costs for cabinetry, plumbing, electrical, flooring, etc). A consult fee (ranging from $250 - $500 depending on the project size) applies; this fee is CREDITED BACK to your account with a signed contract & deposit
Follow-Up Meeting - To review design & estimates, answer any questions & sign Contract if Homeowner elects to move forward
Contract Signing - Preliminary estimates are signed & a Deposit received (generally 25%-30% of Contract amount). This step will place the Homeowner into our production calendars - which is based on a first-come, first-served process. Designs are distributed to the Homeowner & the design process continues until your ideal layout is realized
Deadlines Schedule - Remodeling your new kitchen or master bath requires countless decisions & can, at times become stressful. Shore-Built's goal is to reduce those stressors, so we provide a "Deadline Schedule" form outlining dates when we will need your decision/item - for example, paint color choice, door style, appliance specs, etc. And we will assist as little, or as much as the Homeowner wants - with selections.
Handcrafted Cabinetry - Once all designs are finalized & signed off, it's time for our skilled craftsmen to get to work in building your dream kitchen or new spa vanity.
Countertop Template/Install - Shore-Built works with a reputable fabricator for all your quartz, granite, soapstone or marble countertop needs. Prior to your counter template, Shore-Built will deliver & install your base cabinets (remaining cabinetry is installed shortly after). Approx 5-7 business days later, the counters are installed. Upon delivery of cabinetry a progress payment of 50% is due.
Project Finish - After counter install, it's time for the finishes: ~ Plumbing fixtures installed ~ Cabinetry doors, drawers & hardware installed ~ Final payment is due upon completion.
